NFL Football on DISH Network
NFL RedZone – New SD/HD Football Channel from NFL Network – Now Available! – DISH Network is pleased to offer customers an affordable way to catch every touchdown and the biggest plays as they happen with our new channel, NFL RedZone – possibly one of the most exciting things to happen to football since high definition and the DVR!
NFL RedZone visits NFL games across the nation every Sunday afternoon to bring customers the most exciting action as it happens. When a team goes inside the 20-yard line, known as the “red zone,” fans see the crucial plays as they happen. The channel keeps fans up-to-date in real time, switching from game to game with live look-ins, highlights and a chance to see most of the important plays. Available in both SD and HD. Other Channels that Carry Professional Football on DISH Network – DISH Network customers who subscribe to the NFL Network channel (which offers 24/7 NFL content and games on select Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays), ESPN and also their local network programming package (where available) may be able to receive most major football games along with their local team’s games. Plus, with the addition of the NFL RedZone channel, customers can make sure they don’t miss most of the biggest plays!
College Football on DISH Network
Versus SD/HD in Free Preview – Now through November 30th – Reminder – A great channel for college football that we carry is Versus (channel 151), which covers the Mountain West, Big 12, Pac-10 and Ivy League conferences. Other great programming on Versus includes the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Built Ford Tough series, IndyCar series, and also National Hockey League (NHL) games. Although Versus is only available in the Classic Gold 250 programming package, DISH Network is currently offering Versus to all customers in free preview (both SD and HD) through November 30th! Please note that the free preview of Versus HD is not available in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Other Channels that Carry College Football – Seven networks that carry college football are available to DISH Network customers, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNU, Big Ten Network, CBS College Sports and Versus. These seven networks are in addition to local network affiliates and local sports networks (where available) that carry college football! Please refer to the table below for a list of the programming packages that carry each channel.
